OLS - CD -Air-Control-Dampers
OLS CONTROL DAMPERS are constructed of precision-formed parts so that a high standard of quality for
the finished product can be achieved. They are designed for trouble-free operation without need for maintenance. The
precision-formed blades ensure long-term consistent performance.
OLS - CD -BackDraft-Damper
Due to space constraint, backdraft dampers
are frequently installed closed to fan discharge
in ventilation system causing rattling noise and
damage to the blade, blade linkage and its
bearings. Our engineer at OLS have produced a
completely new version of the backdraft damper
that is fail-proof from air turbulence and does not
cause rattling noise under turbulence flow.
OLS - CD -Isolation-Damper
Operator may be manual, electric or pneumatic actuator. Balancing
damper may be provided with lever type or handwheel manual gear
operator. On/off or shut-off and modulating dampers may be
provided with electric, electro-hydraulic and pneumatic actuator.
Type of electric and pneumatic actuators needed depends on the
required function of the damper. The following electric or actuator
options are available:
OLS - CD -Non-Return-Damper
Constructed of high quality hot-dipped pre-galvanized steel of
1.20 mm thick cold-formed and fully welded at the joint. The
standard frame depth is 150 mm with 38mm by 3mm thick
flange pre-punched with 8 mm diameter holes for duct-to-duct
connection; other frame depth and flange dimensions are
available upon request.
OLS - FD -Fire-Smoke Curtain Type Damper
RC400 fire dampers are supplied with sleeve and retaining angles for easy installation on wall or
floor. All installer needs to do is to remove one set of retaining angles from the damper, slide the
damper into the wall opening, fill clearance between damper and wall/floor/drywall with high temperature insulation and fix back the retaining angles.
OLS - FD -Motorised-Fire-Smoke-Damper
The model FSD418 have been designed with
carefully chosen components to ensure a longlasting, trouble-free and reliable operation.
Stainless steel parts are used where necessary
on moving parts to prevent seizure during a
fire.
OLS - FD -Smoke-damper
OLS Model SD18 and SD20 dampers have been
designed with carefully chosen components to
ensure a long-lasting, trouble-free and reliable operation. Stainless steel parts are used where necessary on
moving parts to prevent seizure during a fire.
The dampers may be duct-connected or wallmounted. For a smoke lobby, the smoke damper may
be mounted to a metal grille for smoke-extract
function. The dampers have been tested to 250°C for
hours according to Underwriters' Laboratory
Standard UL555s.

of rail and mass rail transit tunnels, road
tunnels, cable tunnels and other underground
installations. These underground tunnel
ventilation systems usually need heavy duty,
high quality and reliable smoke and fire
control dampers and OLS's TVD are designed
to meet such requirements.
