OLSON -Acoustic-Louvre
The VAL-30 and VAL-60 Acoustic
Louvres are constructed of high
quality electrogalvanised steel parts
are painted in baked white enamel
finish while the perforated parts shall
be in mill finish. The louvre frames are
constructed of minimum 1.0mm thick
steel sheet cold-formed into channels to give it rigidity. The blades are constructed ofthree composite
components which include a top skin of minimum 0.7mm thick steel sheet cold-formed to give it rigidity, a
layer of 0.5mm thick perforated steel sheet. Blades are fastened to the vertical frame at each end.
OLSON -Circular Sound Attenuator
Circular Sound Attenuator reduces noise travelling from air handling unit and supply ventilation ducts. Designed with pod at the center to minimize the pressure loss and generated noise. Air passage and pod diameter varies depending on the required low and high frequency attenuation.Different lengths are provided for the amount of attenuation required.

In today’s large handling systems, the air moving devices such as fans, blowers, cooling towers, dust extraction systems and the like, usually produce undesirable high noise levels that may be transmitted through both the supply and return air systems serving the conditioned areas of the building. To control the passage of noise along such air paths, OLSON Acoustics has developed a line of Sound Attenuators which can provide proper acoustical environment in the occupied areas of the buildings.
OLSON -Sound Attenuator
The OLSON Acoustics standard range of sound attenuators are designed with three splitter arrangements to
give virtually any attenuation required for axial or centrifugal fans. Air passage widths and splitter thicknesses
varies to provide the required low and high frequency attenuation. The number of air passages and their
height are arranged to meet resistance to air flow requirements. Different lengths provide for the amount of
attenuation required.
OLSON -Tunnel Ventilation Sound Attenuator
Sound attenuation is an important consideration in the design of the tunnel ventilation system due the large volume of
air required for normal operation to keep the tunnel in habitable condition. Especially during an emergency where large
amount of hot gases that is generated from a fire that need to be extracted to keep the tunnel in safe condition for
evacuation of passengers and for access of firefighting and rescue personnel.
